The bakelite tokens were used in the cafeterias of ships of the Sommerfin line, operated out of Haifa, Israel from 1959 until about 1967, when it went bankrupt and was sold off.

These uniface tokens were produced in denominations of 5, 25, 50 and 100 agorot. 

- token were in at least, red, green, blue, & yellow colors
- 1959 would be prutot, and
- 1960 would be agorot.

Haifa Hadar Subway Token 1960's

The Carmelit is an underground funicular railway in Haifa, Israel. It opened in 1959, and closed in 1986 after showing signs of aging. It reopened in September 1992 after extensive renovations.

Minted by the bus company Southern Judea for the use of passengers and drivers. Southern Judea was a cooperative association - a transportation cooperative founded in 1931. The cooperative existed for 20 years until 1951, when its independent existence ceased with its joining the Egged company.
