It is very hard to find good pictures of people wearing the service ribbons. There are several reasons for this:
1)
The service ribbons were supposed to be worn only on Independence Day and during
official gatherings. For servicemen wearing campaign ribbons, it was not likely
that they would add the service ribbon to their campaign ribbons just for a few
days per year. Policemen did not obey this rule and had their service ribbons
such as those of the Haganah, Mishmar. mounted together with the campaign
ribbons.
2) Ribbons like the Etzel and Lehi ribbons were distributed much later (1979,1980) than the Haganah ribbon (1958). Many members of these organizations were retired at that time.
3) Regarding the Nili ribbon, there were no survivors who could wear the ribbon, distributed in 1981.
4) Wearing ribbons is not a common phenomenon in Israel. Usually, the ribbons were put in a drawer, the certificates got lost.
