Israeli military decorated with foreign decorations

The Santos Dumont Medal of Merit to Israel Air Force Commander Maj.-Gen. Ido Nehushtan

22/3/2010 Israel Air Force Commander Maj.-Gen. Ido Nehushtan was awarded the Santos Dumont Medal of Merit from Brazil’s military attaché to Israel. Three hundred of these medals have been awarded worldwide, three of them in Israel to commanders of the IAF, the Navy and the Ground Forces Command. The Medal was granted to the Commander-in-Chief by Colonel Heimo Da Luna, the Brazilian Embassy's military attache.
