Major General Yedidia
Ya'ari, the Israel Navy commander was awarded the decoration of
Commander of the Legion of Merit, during his visit to the United States.
The visit dealt with coordination between the fleets of USA and Israel.
The decoration was presented by Admiral Vern Clark, Chief of Naval
Operations.
