Change of command ceremony of the Israeli Air Force

Chief of Staff of the United States Air Force, Gen. David L. Goldfein landed in Israel today for a short visit to attend the change of command ceremony of the Israeli Air Force. Gen. Goldfein also presented the Legion of Merit (degree of Commander) to outgoing IAF Commander Maj. Gen. Amir Eshel for “exceptionally meritorious conduct” and for his long-standing partnership with the U.S. Air Force.
