A medal commemorating the Mossad and IDF operations that had as target to bring Ethiopian Jews to Israel by land, sea and air. The operations took place during the years 1977 to 1991.

Front: A map of north east Africa and the Middle East showing the diverse  routes from the Gondar region in Ethiopia, through Sudan port of Arous to Eilat in Israel. The means of transport were car, the Israel Navy ship "Bat Galim", Hercules airplanes and others.

Back: A group of Ethiopian immigrants beneath the text describing the operation in Hebrew, English and Amharic.Top of the medal shows the official emblem of Israel besides the hebrew Bible verse: "For lack of guidance a nation falls, but victory is won through many advisers" (Proverbs 11:14).
